About the Role
As an HSE Officer, you’ll play a pivotal role in developing and implementing safety and environmental policies, procedures, and programs. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, standards, and codes of practice. You’ll conduct regular inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify potential hazards and implement effective control measures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safety Compliance: Conduct inspections and audits to ensure adherence to safety regulations.
- Accident Prevention: Develop and implement programs to prevent accidents, including safety training and emergency response plans.
- Occupational Health: Promote employee health and well-being through occupational health programs and ergonomic practices.
- Environmental Management: Minimize environmental impact by developing and implementing management programs.
- Training and Education: Provide safety, health, and environmental training to employees.
- Incident Reporting and Investigation: Ensure prompt reporting and thorough investigation of incidents and near-misses.
- Compliance Monitoring: Maintain records and prepare reports to ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
