About the Job
As an Environmental Coordinator at H&P, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing various environmental aspects at our rig. Your responsibilities will include:
- Evaluating, Observing, and Controlling Hazardous Waste: Ensure the legal flow and management of hazardous waste and pollutants.
- Third-Party Management: Manage third-party waste management service providers in compliance with Aramco requirements.
- Documentation: Update waste management manifests as per operator requirements and maintain comprehensive documentation.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the operators’ environmental department and assist in closing out environmental audit points raised by the operator.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with Saudi EPA and Aramco regulations through regular site inspections.
- Training and Assistance: Provide job training and assistance to team members when needed.
- Risk Assessment: Identify root causes of environmental problems, assess potential risks, and develop mitigation plans.
- Program Management: Oversee waste disposal and treatment programs, and maintain environmental management and monitoring programs.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement to reduce environmental damages and wastes.
