Fully Funded Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants must be new full-time doctoral students.
- Candidates can be of any nationality from all over the world.
- Applicants must prove that their higher education was conducted in the English language.
- If the candidate’s previous education is not English, he must present a certificate of English proficiency.
- If the candidate is not a new Ph.D. student, they can apply for this scholarship only if they can gain admission to other new full-time Ph.D. programs.
- The applicant must choose from a given list of 8 universities.
Application procedure:
- Candidates must apply to the university and this scholarship separately.
- Candidates must first apply for the scholarship.
- To apply for a fellowship, candidates must complete an initial application through the Hong Kong Ph.D.
- Fellowship Scheme (HKPFSES) electronic system.
- After successful submission of the first application, applicants will receive a reference number.
- Applicants must apply to the selected universities (up to 2 universities and 2 programs depending on priority) and the given reference number must be mentioned in the college application.
- In case candidates forget to provide the HKPFSES reference number, their applications will be reviewed regularly and will not be considered for this scholarship.
- Each university has a different submission deadline, so if you want to get a reference number before the deadline, you need to complete the initial application as soon as possible to meet the university’s deadline.
