Higher Education Scholarships 2021-2025 Eligibility Criteria:
Scholarships in this program have the following conditions:
- Available to students starting in 2021-2025;
- Available to incoming students on direct entry international undergraduate and postgraduate courses,
- including those who are required to complete the Pre-Enrolment English Program (PEP) prior to commencing
- their studies;
- Open to citizens of any country (except Australia and New Zealand);
- Open to international students undertaking Australian study programs on the mainland in Australia who have achieved academic merit in their studies by achieving a minimum ATAR score of 80 or an International
Baccalaureate (IB) score of 28 including:
- Australian Capital Territory Year 12 Certificate (ACTE)
- New South Wales Higher School Certificate (HSC)
- South Australia Certificate of Education (SACE)
- Tasmanian Certificate of Education (TCE)
- Victoria Certificate of Education (VCE)
- Western Australia Certificate of Education (WACE)
- Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE)
- Northern Territory Certificate of Education (NTCE)
- It provides a waiver of 25% of the annual tuition fee for each year of the program for the entire duration of the degree program.
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:
- Either a graduate (graduate) of an AQF-recognized Australian higher education institution or have completed an onshore Australian Year 12 qualification with an ATAR of 80 or an onshore IB Diploma with a total of 28;
- Have an offer of admission to the University of Adelaide (full offer or conditional offer) as a full-fee international student;
- Complete the admissions process as outlined in your offer of admission;
- Enroll in the daily study load for each study period of your degree.
Note: Scholarship applicants who are eligible for more than one scholarship offered by the University of Adelaide will only be eligible for one scholarship (the highest scholarship award they are eligible for).
Exclusions
The following applicants are not eligible for these scholarships:
- Current University of Adelaide students transferring from one program to another before successfully completing their degree program (internal transfers);
- Students who are recipients of a scholarship covering tuition fees awarded by a recognized scholarship awarding body such as a government department or ministry;
- Applicants for Masters by Research or PhD programs.
- Applicants for certain programs; the list of excluded degrees can be found in the scholarship conditions.

It is not necessary to apply for the University of Adelaide Undergraduate Scholarship 2021-2025 as this scholarship will be automatically awarded to students who meet the eligibility requirements. No separate scholarship application form is required. Scholarship recipients will be confirmed at the point of admission.
