Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants for the Eric Bleumink Fund should:

  • Received provisional or unconditional admission to a master’s program before February. Only then will applicants for a grant from the Eric Bleumink Fund be considered (see:  Master’s degree programmes )
  • Have an excellent academic record, preferably confirmed by letters of recommendation
  • Have excellent grades during Bachelor/Bachelor studies;
  • Have an excellent command of English in accordance with the admission requirements of the chosen program
  • Be available throughout the program and be able to participate in the entire program
  • Be in good health for health insurance to be a holder of the nationality of the country listed in Annex 1.
  • Have no other means of financing the study in question

Application procedure:

The admissions office of the University of Groningen, in consultation with the admissions committees of its faculties, will determine which applicants will be nominated for the Eric Bleumink Fund scholarship.

Thus, only applicants who have received a provisional or unconditional offer of admission to the master’s program before February can be considered. In order for the admissions office to have enough time to process the application for the master’s study program, the applicant should complete such master’s application by December 1.
