Job Description
As an HSE Officer at Precision Group, you will play a pivotal role in implementing and monitoring HSE policies and procedures to promote a safe and healthy work environment. Your responsibilities will include:

- Compliance and Reporting: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, maintain an up-to-date legal register, and submit accurate regulatory reports on time.
- Inspections and Hazard Management: Conduct daily HSE inspections, log findings, recommend corrective actions, and ensure timely report closure.
- Safety Protocols: Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, enforce the use of personal protective equipment, and correct hazards immediately or report them to the appropriate personnel.
- Audit Coordination: Assist in maintaining documents and records for internal and external audits, including customer, certification, and compliance audits.
- Waste Management: Implement and maintain an effective waste management system with up-to-date disposal records.
- Equipment Testing: Ensure timely third-party testing for lifting equipment, loose gears, pressure vessels, air compressors, and air receivers, and maintain records.
- Risk Assessment and Training: Prepare risk assessments, implement control measures, and train employees. Conduct mock fire drills and maintain reports.
- Crisis Management: Manage emergency situations like fires, medical emergencies, gas leaks, chemical incidents, and violence, and prepare necessary reports.
- Security Systems: Monitor electronic security systems, report malfunctions, and provide first-line support for security staff.
- Environmental Compliance: Assist in environmental compliance measures and record-keeping.

- Incident Investigation: Lead investigations of incidents, implement corrective actions, and communicate lessons learned across the company.

- Budget Management: Track the budget and assist in yearly budget preparation.

- Maintenance Contracts: Ensure annual maintenance contracts for services like fire safety, housekeeping, pest control, and waste management are valid and services are availed as per the contracts.
- Additional Tasks: Perform any other tasks assigned by reporting managers to achieve department objectives.
Requirements
- Education/Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Diploma in NEBOSH or related technical certificates.
- Experience: At least 3 years of health & safety compliance experience in manufacturing sites, along with 2 years of security management experience.
- Skills:
- Conducting training in health, safety, and environment.
- Root cause analysis and accident/incident investigation techniques.
- Extensive knowledge of security protocols and procedures.
- Excellent management, supervisory, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
